Though we have not met I look forward to our times together over the next few days and weeks and months and maybe even some years through this wonderful technological thing called a “blog.” It seems that every where I turn I find people that are just plain frustrated. Some are frustrated with their jobs or the lack of one. There are those who are frustrated with their life-less marriages or others their singleness – living solo in a double-world. Some are really frustrated with their financial state – their debt has become debilitating. Others are struggling with those difficult health issues that has stayed like an aggravating house-guest longer than expected. Recently I was in a restaurant and I could declare those kids at the next table must have been frustrated for all the noise they were making, not to mention their parents.
So whether it’s the marketplace or even at your place if you have been feeling overwhelmed and frustrated with the circumstances of life, take a moment and refocus. Move your focus from the frustration to the fact you’ve been given a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Yes, you may have every reason to be frustrated but focusing on that will only sap the strength you need to proactively move forward. Move from recognition to resolution mode. Make the transition from frustration to faith that things can and will get better someday somehow. There are real solutions, creative strategies, people of purpose who will stand with you and encourage you to invest each one of those seconds wisely. Your future depends on it. What do you think about it?
